There seems to be no other way
We make it up as we go along
But while the day is high and dry
And love and good are in your eyes
Catchy Cathy Catch a Capture Catch her
Catch a glimpse of you in the sun
From West to East
Angel to beast
No retreat
The big brain turns out all these words
Food for worms, return to dirt
But while the moon is fat and full
The lunar ticks before the lull
Everybody changes

The Suprise Inside
04:16
|
|||
Ooh Ma, you got your whole heart
Ooh Pa, it's time for a brand new start
You've got it all ahead of you
Not a second lived at all
Sleep tight little angel of mine
Know that I've been dreaming of how I will
Lay you down in a bed of feathers
Know that I will love you until I pass on by

Love Is Chaos
05:54
|

This day is full of trickery
Droplet on my window tell me
The Sun is a lie
I see Maude is waiting in the graveyard
With the best lesson I learned
She lived life well
And death was hard earned
Love is chaos
Body is whole
My soul is split into
NIght and day
Tracing moments of adventure
I plan forever into future
The stand surrounded by
Bodies decomposed
While alive is the jester in the corner
With his eyes closed
He sits with feet in muddy water
Under an old roof
Already begun to fall
When the night train, so rapid
Thunders in with shining windows
No faces alight
See it all started when the tide was is
And the howling moon
Sung full and high
I caught the tick
Tick of the Lunar
And now I feel better
So I say Thank You
Old Mother Nature
For my inconvenient incubator

Higher Lover
05:35
|
|||
Upon thhe scaffold of your love
I built a shrine in the back of my mind
I raised you high held you above me
The loose ends firmly I had tied
The tied myself up to the mast
Been travelling hard in a moving past
Though the distance now seems not so vast (2000 miles)
With my head held high eyelids peeled back
Singing higher lover, lover high, higher lover
You got your higher love
I'm working now on overtime
Working most of all my time
You put the diamond in our nest
You bang your drum ad I'll beat my chest
Been travelling hard and moving fast
Through the blackened heart of the underpass
With sword unsheathed the veil cast back
The body slashed but the root holds fast
If this is all that I can give
If this is all that I can bare
If this is all I really am
Then come with me and we'll go there

DIG
04:40
|
|||
Dig
Fruit in the Summer, weeds in the springtime
Fairy ring, stinging nettle and dandelion,,
Sweet violet.
With Autumn fall our walnut and Hazel,
Sloes for gin that kept us warm those Winter nights,
When all we found were Chanterelle and Velvet Shank
The ruling class would take away our right,
to forage freely in the countryside,
The pillage greenery for greed alone,
then leave us hungry gnawing at bone
a scrap they've thrown
A rabbit pie straight from the whippets mouth,
a welcome bit of protein in this drought
Wade in salt water at the coast
cockles and muscles to take home
A bucket full of winkles and seaweed
Ripe for the pot fresh for the family
Ripe for the pot fresh for the family
The joy of foraging for me,
comes when I can share
Free delicacies
A little rosehip will cure your tummy ache
feverfew to ease that head
Lavender and barley soothe your muscles
valerian helps you to bed
Holyhead, Dover, Newcastle, Bristol,
Cheshire, Home, Belfast, Aberdeen, Cornwall
Mother natures larder is at your beck and call
The life of a pauper could be rich and plentiful,
with an eye in the hedgerow
and a lover to keep the fire going

Out Here With Us
07:37
|
|||
Out here in the distance
Out here in the heart
Out here at the edge
Hear the sweet dark mellow larks
Out here we fear nothing
Out here heed no call
Out here we are kings
On thrones untouchable
Now the sun is just a husk
A crisp and fragile shell
The dust has turned to rust
Black flowers with no smell
My eyes begin to water
My tounges no tast to taste
My vision growing weaker
My heart a pounding in my chest
I curl into a ball
Close my senses down
Now I only feel stable
With my face pressed to the ground
Like a kidney
Like a beetle
All bound up
Fetal
It is futile
Don't resist it
Join along with us
Feel no sickness
There is wisdom
Hidden in it
You're staring hard now
But you see no blueprints
You are breathing
You're not sinking
Keep on fishing
Keep on dreaming

Long dark waiting
Aint been for nothing
Bone cold sorrow
Only made it true
Carved in a stone wall
You read the inscription
It told a story
Of where Ive been
And where I plan to go
So over the mountains of madess you came
We went a wandering
Alone, together
Boastful wildlings
Seeking, finding
Heads and bodies free
Feet stuck in the vehicle
Over the mountains of madness you came
We were born, then survived
We all feared there for our lives
When you fly over the mountain
And witness its cubic form
Fear the city below your feet
Its the one they speak of in the Necronomicon
Lonely dreamers pushed themselves
Into the unknown
Realist workers stayed behind
They all tried their best to grow
A confusion of wonderlust
The seed was planted
A truth was sewn

Space Lullaby
04:42
|
|||
I remember you in your dressing gown
When your hair hung long
As the moon stood proud
Lo are veins are entwined
Never forget who you are
How we roasted love on that open flame
Wild wounds weeping
'Fore the flames were tamed
My spine is yours as yours mine
Never forget who you are
We opened far and wide to fill the holes inside
The shelves behind our eyes
Gather dust over time
Our feral dreams enshrined
Never forget who you are
Inner own time
In our own time
We lay spurned and splayed on the firing range
As the last horse grazed
On an open plain
I'm singing for you these days
Never forget who you are
